Why Kyle Rayner Vs Simon the Digger Is My Most Wanted Matchup
Hey gang. BangJang96 on the podium. The Kickstarter for Death Battle has rekindled the show, full of matchups that make an absolutely stacked roster. Seriously, you have long time requests such as Ash vs Yugi, and some more unique picks like Aang vs the Traveler and Hulk vs Godzilla. But for me, no match has really been my most hype, as much as Simon the Digger vs White Lantern (weird display name but ok). Many of my long time friends for the last four or so years are pretty familiar with how I feel towards Kyle vs Simon, but there’s a lot of people that don’t really know just why I love this conceptually weird but totally amazing matchup. Kyle Rayner vs Simon the Digger is my favorite Death Battle idea period. It has an amazing history that tells a story, a history that I have been really invested and involved in, and most importantly taught me a lot about what it means to just enjoy these characters that we pit against each other in fictitious encounters and fights to the death.
