Simon the Digger vs Kyle Rayner Review- One Brightest Day Later

  I wanted to make this to both complete the trilogy of Simon vs Kyle blogs, and because I feel like giving my full thoughts on the episode in a Discord comment wouldn't do it justice, but I do not think my voice is good enough to make a YouTube video on this either lol, so I'm gonna do it here. This is a raw, honest review on the episode that I'm typing out as I go along, and just giving my thoughts on everything. I rewatched the episode probably over 10 times from yesterday to now so I can say that I did this without too much bias, but this was my most wanted so expect a little bit of bias haha. If you're reading this in hopes of changing your mind about the episode, then I'm glad you're here, and hopefully I can change your mind, but this isn't made solely to do that either so don't think anything is a call out to people being critical of the episode or to those who don't like it.   Disclaimer This is not a ‘counterfeit’ to the GL Cosmology Blog, nor is this part of an arms race to try and get Kyle ahead of Simon. We had this planned out well into the beginning of the matches announcement on the kickstarter. Was it planned before Kirb’s blog? We don't know but this has always been in the works, so please do not think this is out of spite for anyone. It isn’t. Some of the people who helped with this document do have disagreements with the Gurren Lagann blog, all of which they formed separate of any influence from anyone else. There are just disagreements on some of the higher end arguments, the overall tiering system (old vs new), among other things. But this blog is not a reflection of any of this as we all went into this with clean, objective slates.
